Throughout ChiroPadEMR there are many areas in which an additional item may be needed immediately, while the patient is still in the adjusting, examination, or treatment room. The various and numerous drop down selection boxes in ChiroPadEMR have the same functionality as the one described here.
For example, in the Ortho/Neuro examination window there is a drop down box for “Unable to Perform Due To:”. (figure 1). To create, edit, and/or delete an item from this drop down box, click on the small square with an ellipsis that is adjacent to the drop down box.

This opens the Modify List box (figure 2) in which an item may be created and added to the list by clicking the New button, or one may be removed from the list by clicking the Delete button.

Adding an item to the list is simple. Click the New button and then type in the entry. Deleting an item is also easy, just click on it to highlight the selection and then click the Delete button. To edit an item that is already on the list, click on it to place the mouse cursor in the needed location, modify the needed entry and close the window by clicking the Close button.
